Steve Green
Steve Green is Head of European Research for the British Council. His remit includes the knowledge and creative sectors and intercultural dialogue in the EU and its neighbouring countries, including co-coordinating the Anna Lindh Foundation in the UK. He was a member of the planning team, and moderator of, the Ljubljana conference in May 2008 on the role of culture in the EU's external relations. He is currently helping develop a major project focused on the Islamic contribution to Europe's intellectual development. He is an active contributor to debates and discussions on the theory and practice of cultural relations, public diplomacy and country branding.
