Ronan Mac Aongusa
Ronan Mac Aongusa has been working in the Sector Coordination Unit for the European Neighbourhood Policy in DG External Relations since September 2007. An official of the European Commission since 1994, he is currently responsible for policy development, coordination and reporting for all ENP countries in the sectors of Justice, Law and Security and Human Capital Development – Education, Training, Culture and Youth. Previously posted in Russia (1999-2003) and Indonesia (2003- 2007), Mr. Mac Aongusa has degrees in International Relations, History and German from the University of Reading and University College Dublin (NUI – UCD).
