Ferdinand Richard

Ferdinand Richard is a musician and had been managing rock and jazz groups from the 70’s to the year 2000. He is currently the director of AMI, the Association for Innovative Music, which he founded in 1985. Since 1982 he has been busy inside a number of organisations promoting culture in both the public and the private field, whether local (the Regional Committee for the Performing Arts) or national (PONDA-Afrique). He is also politically engaged, being responsible for Culture in the Green Party. He is committed to international cultural cooperation with the Gondwana association and his network ‘Fanfare’, as indeed at the Euro-Med level with the French network of the Foundation Anna Lindh and the Roberto Cimetta Fund. He was the President of Culture Action Europe (EFAH at the time) from 1996 – 1999 and has been an individual member since 1994.
